Once a year, people from all over the world meet in Fuengirola...
In one day you can visit over 40 countries, without leaving Fuengirola! This vibrant festival is a definate must see and usually takes place in the first wek of May. Each country is represented in one of the feria ground's 'casetas'
You can enjoy typical food and drink from each country, watch live entertainment, check out handmade products and dance the night away!
Sohail Castle
History and music come together
High on a hill over looking the sea is Fuengirola's beautiful Sohail castle.
The castle itself is a must see but the festivals and concerts held inside and on the spectacular grounds should not be missed! From Sting, to Scorpions the summer concerts here ensure somthing for everybody! Check out whats going on whilst your here on the Fuengirola official website.
Feria del Rosario
Fuengirola's annual fair is held for a week and starts on the 6th of October.
The fairground fills up with horses, traditional dress, and lots of wine and dance! 'El dia del niño' is the day when all the feria rides are half price and is a must for fair ground ride addicts.
Regarded as the coasts biggest feria this is a must see when in Fuengirola.
Virgen del Carmen
The 16th of July is the day of the Virgen del Carmen, the patron of Fuengirola. Traditionally Fuengirola and Los Boliches were fishing towns, and the fishermen and their families believed and still believe that the Virgen del Carmen protects them whilst at sea, ensures a good catch and a safe trip home to their families. Its a very important day for locals as its when the local fishermen lead the Virgen back in to the sea.
This is a must see for all visitors to Fuengirola and Los Boliches.
